The Education In my Country to that in the Uk

  COMPARING AND CONTRASTING THE EDUCATION IN YOUR COUNTRY AND THE ONE IN UK
First we should know the word Education. Education can be said that"Education is a process in which and by which the knowledge, characters and behavior of the human being are shaped and molded."(2012 F.Umar). The educational system had improve in a great form, and it makes the society a knowledgeable place to habitat. There are different meaning to the word Education,
"The "education" has been derived from Latin words "Educare, Education of Educare." Educatwrn" and Educare" means to train, to bring and to nourish' while educare' `means to lead out', so we can say that education is to bring up, to developing and shaping up the individual talent and his inner potentialities."(2012 F.Umar). That is a brief explanation of Education.

  According to the above you see that Education play a great roll in the world. Lets now move to the topic  COMPARING AND CONTRASTING THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AND THE ONE IN UK. I am from a country located at the westen part of africa called Nigeria, In Nigeria there is not a big difference between the educational system and the one of the uk. we have almost the same Educational system.  

 

	NIGERIA	United Kingdom
Age of Entry	The start of education in Nigeria for a child is form 5years.	In the united kingdom the start age is younger starting from 4years.
Uniforms	In Nigeria the uniforms are very compulsory and lawful to put on form the nursery, primary and secondary	It is also lawful to wear a uniforms.
Exams	The examination conducted are the primary leaving certificate also in the secondary is call the West Africa Examination Council(WEAC) also the GCE	And the Examination done here are the GCE Common Entrance Examination for secondary, also the GCE which is known as A levels.
Finance	The finance aspect is paid by the government but not completely funds are supplied.	The UK government funds the education from the nursery to the Secondary.
Length of Course	It takes a longer way to study the minimum length is 4years	The length of study is short and fast.

The above Diagram shows the different and similarity of both Educational system, you will notice that there are not a big gap between the each of the countries.  The UK Education had drop due to the  increased of fees according to Panel chairman Will Hutton "Although it is too early to draw any firm conclusions, this study provides initial evidence that increased fees have an impact on application behaviour.There is a clear drop in application numbers from English students when compared to their counterparts in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland." (A.Harrison 2012). According to Tomori, (2012). The Nigerian educational system is filled with gaps such as inadequate infrastructure and facilities to provide a conducive learning environment; this is caused by poor funding of said schools by the Nigerian government.
